A hands-on course for essential first responder skills airway adjuncts, stop the bleeding, keep the patient warm, splinting. We will have 4 hands on stations where we will facilitate practice in 1) airway adjuncts (NPA, OPA, BVM), 2) tourniquet use and wound packing to stop bleeding, 3) hypothermia wrap including use of VSB for patient packaging, 4) simple splinting with SAM splint.
